Excellent base to visit the beautiful town of Mijas.
The girls on reception   were so helpful and were on hand to offer tips and suggestions.
You can book tours from reception.
The apartment had everything you could want, and I never seen so many towels for guests use in a hotel before.
As already stated in previous comments, the views from our balcony were of the mountains and the sea.  
We stayed in the Picasso apartments, which is beside the reception.
I would love to return for another break.


Our 2nd stay at La Ermita in beautiful Mijas Peublo. We had a 2 bedroomed apartment, DALI 31, in the perfect position (although the views towards the coast are good in all the apartments). We had a corner position with a view of the poolswith 2 large balconies from the main bedroom and living area, complete with sun beds and table and chairs. The living room was a good size, 3 of us, and gave us plenty of space. I personally found the beds uncomfortable for my back but the other 2 had no complaints. Kitchen was kitted out well although we never ate in other than breakfast and a light lunch. Washing machine and other facilities were very good. The position of La Ermita in Mijas Peublo is perfect. Wonderful views to the coast never fail to impress. The short walk to Mijas is uphill but ok for 3 in our 70's. If the last bit uphill at the side of the car park is too much, there is a lift inside the car park to the Town Hall level. We sometimes took it down, not up!!!! If you want to save some money, the train from Malaga Airport is so easy, 100 yards outside the terminal. Machines easy to use and staff were available for any problems.  10 stops, 3 euros, and then we got a taxi from outside Feungirola train station. We will be back again to one of our favourite areas of the world.

Family of four, 2 adults and children aged 8 and 6. Check in was easy, we arrived early (1pm) and we were able to leave our bags securely until our room was ready. The hotel called us to say it was ready earlier than 3pm which was great.

The apartment was much bigger and nicer than we expected! Bottle of red wine and 2 glasses on the dining table on arrival. There was everything we needed, washing machine with detergent, washing up liquid, sponges etc. Plenty of towels, bedding, utensils, bin bags etc. Toiletries in the bathroom (shampoo and shower gel). We knew the hotel looked great but it was more than we expected! The view as well...just wow. The balcony was big and had a 4 seater table and 2 sun loungers plus space for the clothes dryer.

The location was perfect, just down the hill from the main part of Mijas Pueblo. 

We ate in the restaurant one lunch time, the food was amazing and there was so much on the menu, pretty much everything, main meals, snacks, breakfasts and the bar was there also. Portions were huge!

The hotel wasn't crowded, didn't have to wait for the lift, guests were respectful of each other, staff friendly.

Pools immaculate, inside one was lovely to get out of the sun, outside ones were on the deep side for our family so we stuck to the inside one. 

We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at Mijas a few times, first time at La Ermita.
All the staff are very efficient and helpful, with lots of local knowledge. Resort kept very clean with beautiful views. Two large outdoor pools, also with beautiful views. Spacious apartment with all amenities. 
Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

We had an excellent stay here. The people at the reception were SO helpful and did so much to advise and help us. Our flight got cancelled and we had to stay for 3 more days. We were able to check back in and the cleaner brought us all the toiletries and things we had left in the previous room to use. Reception also booked us taxis to the airport very early in the morning and they were very reliable. 

The rooms are clean and having two bathrooms and a kitchen with fridge and washing machine was great for us.,

The balcony and views are stunning.

The pools were v quiet when we were there and there were plenty of sun beds. The terraces and steps down are beautifully tiled, the indoor pool and steam / sauna are lovely.

Pool towels were provided.

Great location and so central to the beautiful village of Mijas Pueblo.

Restaurant and bar staff way below previous standard in quality and service. Poor value drinks that are made up mainly with ice. Bar staff not at all knowledgeable on mixed drinks. This was especially noticeable at so called happy hour.


From the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff to the cleanliness of the whole resort, we simply love staying here and will definitely be back.  Located perfectly in the beautiful town of Mijas

Beautiful apartment fabulous staff pool and Restaurant excellent would definitely stay again groop off three travelers We Loved it .The village is a short walk up hill but the is a lift if needed,the Village is Beautiful fabulous restaurants and supermarkets .

A great stay for the money. However, beds should be replaced in the kids room small beds were uncomfortable. The staff at reception were very friendly and attentive. Pablo was also very helpful while we tried to book our tours. The view was amazing.

World class facility with every amenity, steps from the White Village of Mijas Pueblo.  Gorgeous views from every vantage point.  A trip you will never forget! Mijas is a delightful village with shopping and restaurants to please every taste.  Several world class golf courses within a few miles.

Peaceful and Quiet

Perfect for us again!

Absolutely FANTASIC place! Perfect location Very Clean

Stayed here mid august with wife and 3 children aged 5,11 and 13. 
Great views from our hotel balcony over the pool and down to the sea. Two nice pools. Bottom one used mainly by families as you can take inflatables in that one. My only issue with the pool is it’s not suitable for young kids as the shallow end isn’t big enough. Had my daughter not learned to swim on the first day I think she would have got bored of it very quickly. 

On site restaraunts serves nice food and the drinks are reasonably priced. Nobody minds if you bring your own alcoholic drinks and drink them round the pool( which does save money). 

The hotel is located a 5 minute walk to the restaraunts and bars up a steepish hill. Lots of nice restaraunts to eat at. Our favourite was the secret garden. The Indian was also very nice . But be warned we had to book a day in advance for the nicer restaraunts. 

There is a supermarket ten minutes walk from the hotel which we used daily. 

You can get a coach to fuengerola, buenelmedena and torromelenos which costs £1.55. You still need a mask to go on the coaches there. The taxi rank next to bus stop will only take 4 passengers max which was a pain as we are a family of 5 

The hotel is nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked even having a washing machine. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed. All rooms have air con. Be careful if booking this hotel through cheekytrip as we did. They tried to sell as the extra room for £300. When we kept saying we didn’t want it the agent would come back saying he would knock off £100 for it. In the end he said he had thrown it in for free! So tried to scam us when we had already paid for a two bed apartment. 

Defiantly recommend this hotel and Mijas as a relaxed holiday resort.

Excellent Place To Stay

Great spot to rest and relax or explore Mijas from. The apartments are spacious and ours had two balconies one of which was big enough for private dining and sun bathing.  Parking is a nightmare in Mijas but the resort provided us with a secure underground parking space for the duration of our visit.

View from balcony lovely. Went in May was quiet as was village. Relaxing week. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Short walk to lift to take you up to the centre. Lots of lovely restaurants and tapas bars.
