Futurotel Malagueta Premium Beach Hotel

I stayed here with my mum for a new experience on the way to Malaga Airport. It was an 18 minuet journey to the airport and only seconds from the beach. The young woman who checked us in was lovely, so helpful and positive and extremely informative about the local area, I wish I’d asked her name so I could mention it here. The pod itself was extremely spacious, the people in our dorm were silent (despite some light shaking in the night 🤣). The bathroom facilities were spotless and were cleaned overnight while we were asleep. You are provided with clean towels and headphones. Overall I was very impressed and would stay again, I’m used to a traditional hostel set up and this felt like futuristic luxury for the price. The pod was a little warm overnight but the bed was more comfortable than the hotel I’d stayed in all week! I believe the people who have reviewed it poorly were simply looking for a bargain night stay and were upset when they weren’t given a 5 star hotel room. It’s more than pleasant, they’re just snobs
