We were unable to check ourselves in, at a reasonable hour, to stay at this rural bed & breakfast inn: Masia de la PINEDA in the Girona area north of Barcelona. The fault was ours' entirely. The inn emailed and called me several times during the same evening to ensure we were going to check-in-- even 3 hours after our estimated time of arrival. I appreciate their perseverance. Thanks! So best wishes to the next traveler. Remember to call/ email the inn well in advance to arrange for specific check-in/ check-out times. Do not get lost (as we did!)
