We stayed here for two nights before returning back to the UK on the ferry from Santander and loved it! The descriptions provided in the last few reviews accurately describe this gem; it was a really lovely place to stay, of historic interest and Juan and his wife (the owners) provided us with the most delicious food in the restaurant. It was a fabulous experience. We visited with our small dog and Juan was able to recommend some lovely places to visit locally where we could also enjoy some interesting walks. The hotel is less than an hour and a half from Santander and because we had plenty of time before our ferry Juan suggested a lovely scenic drive through the mountains rather than the main road route. It was a lovely drive and a perfect end to our holiday.
