La Posada Nueva

After a terrible experience at the nearby Corazon Pura, we found this place. The hostess was quiet, but very kind. She was perfectly happy to show us our room before we committed to staying. The entire place is clean and well kept. There's a lovely living room upstairs with floor to ceiling windows that open out onto the small balcony (where you can hang your clothes to dry). But what really makes this place special is the food. Home-cooked. Fresh from a nearby garden. Plenty of it. And it was delicious. We'd heard Zubiri was completely booked for the next night, so the next day we left our packs here, walked to Zubiri, then took a cab back to this place and enjoyed their delicious food around a community table once again. They also had one of the strongest wi-fi connections along the Camino. I was able to make Skype video calls without any delay. I would definitely recommend this place.
