Llibrada

We stayed at Hotel Llibrada for 3 nights in September 2016. I was running the Trail2Heaven 48km ultra and my girlfriend climbed Aneto (the highest peak in the Pyrenees)with Tryton Guides, a local guiding operation (who are not on TripAdvisor but whom we also recommend). We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Llibrada. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Despite us speaking very little Spanish and they very little English, we were easily able to request early breakfasts before both of our activities. The room was small, but clean, with a good size bathroom and a small balcony that looked out over the entrance to Benasque. There is no air conditioning, but the balcony door provides some ventilation and we dealt ok with the heat. The location of the hotel is excellent, a mere minutes stroll to Benasque's main street. Overall, we thought Hotel Llibrada was the perfect base to explore Benasque, compete in Trail2Heaven and explore the greater Pyrenees area. We would definitely stay again.
