Hotel Marbella

We are a couple in our 50's and stayed here for 5 nights for husband's birthday. Firstly, please ignore any negative reviews they must be completely deluded!!! The hotel is about 6-10 minute walk from the train station and train fare cost £2.35 each way. On arrival couldn't check in until 2 oclock, so left case and went to explore and have cocktails on the seafront. We upgraded to the suite because it was our personal preference to have a balcony (so worth it). The room was spacious and clean with a king size bed, bedside cabinets a little dated but functional. The bathroom was spacious and clean and the shower water pressure was out of this world! Air conditioning, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities, mini fridge (Tip: pop to the shop just round corner and grab a small bottle of milk for your morning cuppa). p.s. there is a lift at this hotel as we were on 3rd floor. Only a few minutes walk to the beach and a huge variety of shops, bars & restaurants. The hotel is located in the peaceful, pretty old part of the town. The staff were all extremely professional and helpful (a big shout out to Frank - so helpful!) We would 110% come back to this hotel and are already looking to book later in the year.
