Can Ramonet

Can Ramonet is a beautiful estate surrounded by lush vineyards with lovely and super-helpful staff. You can only access it by car (or bike ;) ) via a very narrow, but paved private road. Use the descriptions on their website to find your way (www.canramonet.net). The reception was very warm and we found it to be the perfect place to relax, either in one of the many outdoor areas or on the sun loungers next to the very clean pool. You can choose wether you want to dine in or out. The breakfast consists of a typical and basic selection of toasted bread, tomato, bacon, sausages and cheese, served with tea or coffee and juice. Dinner consisted of a very generous serving of a starter (gazpacho), a veggie main dish and icecream. We ordered a nice regional wine with it. Being a vegetarian in the spanish countryside can be a bit challenging at times, but Can Ramonet staff was very flexible and accommodating about alimentary requirements. There are several houses on the estate. We stayed in a twin room in Can Marius. While the furnishings are practical, the architecture of the room is lovely with rough old stone walls and a barrel-vault ceiling typical of old buildings in the area. The room and adjoining private bathroom were both very clean. Wifi reception is moderate and limited to common areas but you will probably not miss it in these beautiful and relaxing surroundings. There is a winery (Can Ramon) in walking distance to the property. I can highly recommend taking a tour there as well! Can Ramonet staff can help with reservations. Can Ramonet is only a ten minute drive away from lively Sitges with a wide selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. The old part of the town is charming and the beaches are always crowded. We loved staying at Can Ramonet and would definitely recommend it to friends and family. At Can Ramonet you will find a very familiar atmosphere with lovely and helpful staff!
