We had been backpacking through Montseny and wanted to relax in a hotel one night before heading back to Barcelona on the train. We found this hotel through booking.com, there weren't many options left for the night. The pictures on booking.com did not seem very appealing so we were hesitant to book, but went ahead with it. When we arrived at the hotel, the clerk was pleasant and helpful. We got checked in quickly and headed to our room. The rooms were much more comfortable and fashionable than we expected. We spent pretty much the entire time relaxing in our room and it was perfect for that. The hotel accepts dogs and we had ours with us, the fee is very reasonable just 6 euros. There is a large grocery store just steps from the hotel and the town center of Sant Celoni is very close and walkable. The next morning at breakfast, the woman working was so sweet and friendly. I was surprised at the quality of pastries, the croissants seemed to be from a local bakery and not out of a plastic wrapping. The coffee was far more decent than most hotel coffee I've tried. The staff overall was the selling point. They are so kind and friendly and really go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Even without a car, this hotel is easy to get to. It's about a 15 minute walk from the train station and we were back in Barcelona quickly. I would recommend this hotel for a little getaway if you wanted to spend some time in Sant Celoni or on your way hiking to Montseny.
