Can't recommend this property highly enough.  The location is ideal for exploring the stunning old town of Cuenca.  The views from our room were stunning and the apartment was very spacious, clean, and well-appointed.  A warm welcome, made us feel at home immediately.  The only slight negative is that you can hear some noise from the neighboring rooms, but you have to remember this is a historic house and some allowances need to be made.

We stayed in the lowest of the apartments, which was still quite high up. Beautiful old renovated hotel, I can't remember how many years they said they were renovating for, maybe 4, but it was totally worth it. It's a beautifully restored hanging house, built into the cliff face. Amazing. Great location too. We even found parking relatively easy, which amazing considering how much it's in the centre of the old town.

We were a family of 3 young children and grandparents, and we rented 2 apartments. They brilliantly put us all together on the top floor. The children loved having the whole floor to themselves!. The views were great, the decor was very pleasing. It was clean. Nothing to fault except that it was quite hard to cook!... We were self catering with the 3 children, and luckily between the 2 apartments we managed to prepare something that was reasonably edible. Other than that it was great. We only stayed for 1 night, but Cuenca deserved more than that. We did the walk down from the top of the town along the gorge/ravine, which was worth it, and really enjoyed the views, but there was plenty more to do on the other side, and the countryside beyond Cuenca is STUNNING...... Will have to go back.

We stayed for two nights here and loved it. Charming, sun filled and full of character with separate bedroom and large living area with microwave, stove and washing machine. Amazing views from the window and the two balconies. Lovely bathroom but only a hand held shower over the bath and the bed a little firm for our liking but otherwise a gorgeous little place.  In a perfect location close to all the tourist attractions and restaurants and within walking distance of the new town although a vey steep trip coming back so have comfortable shoes! 
It would have been great if there had been some tourist information in the apartment in English as we found the language barrier extremely difficult, even at the tourist information centre.  However, Diego's English was very good and he was extremely helpful with everything we asked about.

Would highly recommend  this lovely place.

This hotel was used for a business retreat and it worked out really well.  It was a relaxing atmosphere,wifi, space to spread out our work and as an extra bonus there are wonderful views especially at night.  Beware wherever you stay in Cuenca that there is a lot of climbing.  We had a bit extra as the tourist office gave us the wrong directions... But the owner was very proud of the care they have taken to make it so nice.  We recommend this nice apartment.

Just Amazing!

Great Place to Stay.

Access to these apartments is best achieved with either the support of a sherpa or a comprehensive knowledge of the Cuenca road system.  Not having either we hauled our suitcases up three very steep inclines to the front door; which was locked.  We rang the phone number on the door and five minutes later we were admitted.  We had been promised 'a balcony overlooking the old town' and our lift journey to level 'minus 2' did not bode well.  Sure enough we were back down several levels towards where we started our ascent overlooking a brick wall, not the old town.  To our surprise we found that the 'two-room apartment' was in fact one room divided by a curtain.  Every conversation or sharp intake of breath by one couple was available to the other.  
Unbelievably the bathroom facilities were at the far side of one of the 'rooms', within the room.  The toilet was enclosed by a curtain and the bath by a precarious room screen reliant on the friction between the wooden frame and the revealed-stone of the wall.  Personal privacy was cast to the winds although a chamber-pot was provided.  Wi-fi was advertised but no password made available.  Breakfast was promised in the room but nothing materialised.  The lighting is poor with both kitchen lights hanging from the ceiling by the cable.
Overall this was disastrous and we are fortunate that we are all from the same family so there was less embarrasment.  At £160 for the night this place is not fit for purpose.  Someone has spent a lot of money converting this place and got it very, very wrong.
