17 reviewsWe were walking the Camino and decided on a night in Camponaraya. Locals were helpful with directions - this B&B is on a little square off the main street. We had been emailed a code to enter the accommodation and we contacted the host upon arrival. Ivan was there within minutes to check us in. He was so helpful - he recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner nearby and even helped us straighten out accommodation at a future stop on the Camino. He was a bit apologetic as there was a race event taking place in the square outside that evening and he was worried that it would be noisy for us; however, we found it interesting to have a bird's eye view of the event and it wrapped up early enough that it did not disturb our sleep. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We had a shared bathroom but never saw the other people - there was certainly no competition to use it. It was very clean. There was a living room available in the B&B to relax, and a kitchen with a self-serve breakfast included. Overall, a very positive experience. Camponaraya is a bit of a nondescript town but it does have its merits and we found this to be a convenient stop along the way.
