A beautiful country house run by a family with just 8 rooms just 2.5 km away from Potes. A good choice for one who prefers to stay a little bit away from the city centre. We chose this place because we drive and the very good price. It turned out to be a real gem as the owner and son went out of their way to give us very good recommendations for nature walks, etc. We also took an evening walk to Potes, which was 30 minutes each way. The house also has a large garden with various fruit trees where we could sit and enjoy the beautiful mountain views around the house.

First of all ignore the car drivers without common sense, yes the entrance is on a narrow lane but all you need to do is drive past the sharp left hand entrance turn around and then go down it.  It is adequate for a normal size car if you can judge distance.  On the way out, do the same, go left and turn around, no problem!  They have a big car park.

Don't miss this fabulous place with friendly owners and a lovely garden to relax, the lady speaks some English, it helps to have pre booked and perhaps have your keywords ready as you would anyway in this part of Spain.  We had a lovely peaceful stay and it is not far to restaurants, there is one within walking distance.  Breakfast was simple but plentiful.  Would stay again, muchas gracias.

This is a B&B around 2km from Potes, in the Picos de Europa. It is in the hamlet of Turieno, just off the road to Fuente De.

It's a relatively modern building with the guest rooms on the lower floor. Rooms were spotless, breakfast was a little bit better than the basic Spanish minimum, location was great. The proprietress was very helpful and friendly, and spoke a little English.

I thought this place was excellent value for money, at less than €50 for a couple, including breakfast and tax.

Two minor negatives were the car park access which is challenging and would not be at all easy in anything bigger than a mid-sized car, and the room heating which was not on, despite the fluctuating weather.

Beautiful setting, idillic place

Very nice base for walking in the Picos de Europa

A beautiful spot, very clean and good rooms...especially for the price, but the access was unbelievably bad.  You had to go past the entrance, reverse in a small opening and hopefully negotiate a very narrow lane. It was impossible to either drive straight in or out! Why didn't they set out better access?  It spoilt the 3 day stay, as we were always anxious about scraping the car, and we did!!
We both felt that it was just a job for the owners,unlike the other 5 stays we had in the area.  On the plus side the rooms and view were spectacular, but if we returned to this area we would chose the Posada Laura just across the road, it had very good access.
