Firstly, Fuente De and its cable car is an absolute must when visiting the Picos de Europe. The walks and views are magnificent. Hotel Rebeco has a lot of life- yes the rooms are quite small- but they are impeccably clean; the service is a little brusque at times- but it's effective and the heart is in the right place, the food is not haut cuisine, but it's quite acceptable. This hotel does not claim to be 5 star- make sure you set your expectations right- and I think you'll be quite happy. The parador across the road looks quite a dispiriting place.
