We stayed one night.

We did the self check in, the room was clean and modern with a fridge, air conditioning and a bathroom with everything you need.

Unfortunately the restaurant bar is closed on weekends and we were unable to have breakfast.

Close to the highway

This is the most weird place we’ve ever stayed but in terms of value for money it was excellent. It’s conveniently located only a few yards from the highway but is in an unattractive area of light industry and derelict scrubland. On arrival on a Saturday in February at 6pm we were shown our room and then the place was locked up for the night (though we were shown how to get in/out  with our key card). We think we were the sole occupants and as far as we know the proprietor left too. The restaurant was not operating so we had to go hunting for a place to eat. The accommodation is on the first floor off an open roof area and is basically a row of steel boxes. However the room, despite being extremely basic, was spotlessly clean with wood flooring, new decor and furniture. The bathroom had modern fittings including a superb walk-in shower with copious hot water. It was surprisingly warm and cosy especially considering the sub-zero temperatures outside overnight. Road noise wasn’t a problem and we slept very well. WiFi was excellent and there were convenient bedside power sockets. For a place to rest your weary body for a night this was ideal and outstandingly cheap. Just don’t expect anything other than a bed, table, chair, TV and clothes stand - but why pay 2 or 3 times as much for flashy extras when you’re only in the room asleep for a matter of hours? However we would question the security/safety arrangements here. When we returned at 7.30p.m.after eating out, the place was in darkness, other than a security light, there were high iron gates outside and bars and chains across the doors which all felt very alarming!! We felt quite vulnerable being alone in a strange building without any staff available, in a run down industrial area, and have no idea what might have happened in the event of an emergency! 

Outstandingly cheap but .......

From the outside of the building, all looked well until we went upstairs to our room, to discover that we had to go out of the building on the 1st floor and saw 2 rows of modular boxes that had been placed on top of the restaurant!  We were allocated room 1, but after looking into the bathroom saw alot of water on the tiled floor which must have been leaking from under the raised shower.  We were then given room 4 which was dry, but was sadly lacking in good housekeeping with the skirting boards thick in many days worth of dust and dirt, the window blinds were broken and crumbs on the (computer) table.  At least the food was good enough in the restaurant - glad we only needed the 1 night here before we moved on.  At 28 euros a night I don't suppose we could have expected much more!
