Pension Segre

I was under pressure after reading all the bad reviews and I try to prepare my mind for what is coming, however that nothing written from other travellers happened to us! I consider ourselves lucky! We were 3 adults and 3 children and booked 2 double bedrooms though booking.com. The rooms were very clean! The cleaner kept the bathrooms and toilets clean every morning! Good tip - as no one is in the the hostel during the day, once you come back from walks use the bathrooms first as these are still clean and other gusts are still outside! We didn’t use the fridges and kept our food inside the rooms! Every time when we went out we kept our valuable things with us - money, cards, passports! We kept everything in our suitcases and kept them closed and locked while we were out for a walk! The reception guys don’t speak English, so use the common Spanish words like “ola”, “si” “gracias” - it does make difference! Тhe location is fantastic - 2min from the bus stop, 15min from the beach, a lot of restaurants and supermarkets near by! You can leave your luggage at the hotel in a locker room with no charge until you time to get to the airport! Also, it’s quite noisy in the evenings due to the cheap windows, but we were so tired, so that didn’t bother our sleeping! We stayed there for 3 nights and I have to say that it’s a perfect choice for a budget holiday! The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that I had to pay E9 for city tax, something that I have already paid though bookings.com which I’m going to query with them! So be aware of that! All in all 4 stars for this place due to perfect location, price, cleanliness and no major issues!
