Apartamentos Turísticos Gran Sol

You know you're on to a good thing when the place is full of locals and not many (non-Spanish) tourists, and that's what Apartamentos Turisticos Gran Sol in Zahara is. Zahara itself is a lovely, quaint, small, authentic Spanish beach resort town with most tourists being Spanish, probably because it is a bit of a journey from the major international airports, but its only a couple of hours drive from Malaga. The apartments are perfect for a couple, and as previous reviewers say, right beside the beach (you can see, and hear it from your balcony). If you're on foot then there's lots to do in Zahara and if you've a car there are many attractions within a short drive. In a heartbeat, we'd go back there, and stay at these apartments. We'd planned to do some cooking ourselves but ate out for each of the 10 days we were there, but cooking in, or takeaways, are an option if you want.
