36 reviewsI was invited to stay at the Casa Grande La Almuina, at the request of a friend who was getting married. I spent two nights in the manor house, an extra night ahead of the wedding to get over jet lag. The service was exceptional, the staff are incredibly friendly, and they treat you as you are a member of the family. The historic aspect of the house has been very well preserved. It was quite fascinating for me, to go to the side of my room, where there were little windows, they would use to shoot arrows out of. The Wi-Fi signal was not very strong, we pretty much had to be downstairs to get a signal, however, for where we were, we were not sure if we were going to get a signal at all. The food is awesome. The best advice is you are planning to diet, do not go there, for the portions are huge, and they make sure that you are well fed. The owner also makes a flan style dish, that is the best I have ever tasted. She surprised us with it, and it was incredible. Off to the side yard, they have animals that they keep as pets, including chickens, geese, a pot belly pig, and a peacock. The peacock, does not like to pose well for the camera. I would definitely visit this establishment again.
