La Posada De Lola

We had a night here last week with friends who had previously stayed for 5 days.Bolonia itself is an amazing place. Posada de Lola is in the heart of the village in a private house with around 15 bedrooms. Each has been decorated differently,but with a Morroccan/Asian fusion,which works! Run by mother and daughter team,Lola & Mares,the Posada has been going for almost 30 years,so they are doing something right!. You enter through the little garden/courtyard,which has seating and tables for the breakfast area and lounger beds with netting to have a drink or meditate or whatever you need. They do an excellent breakfast bocadillo or toast,basic,but tasty and fresh.Good coffee and a cracking mojito. The rooms are spotlessly clean ...upstairs they are bigger and you have to share a bathroom with maybe 3 other rooms,but they are cleaned constantly.the downstairs rooms aren't quite as nice,but they have their own bathroom.There was air con & heating,so i dont know what sunny jayjay was talking about. Lola is very warm and welcoming,as is her daughter. I will be going back as often as I can...it is a home from home.Very reaonable prices,too. Walking distance to beach and restaurants and parking outside the hotel.
