Waking up with the sounds of nothing but nature, followed by a morning yoga session on the yoga platform underneath the pine-trees and overlooking the sunflower fields. After that a fresh mint tea from the garden in the patio where local legend Jose friendly greets you for the day. Host Stefania walks her talk and the extra mile to make you feel home, happy and does everything as environmentally friendly and conscious as possible. The water is purified and mineralized, breakfast is sourced locally and with fruits and herbs from the garden, and no harsh chemicals are used for cleaning or gardening. She even makes her own cleaning and fertilizing products just from scratch and nature. Im always pulled by the sea but at Finca la Palmera there is no urge to leave at all. The opposite. It’s a place to simply be in nature and absorb all the magic it has to offer from the hammocks, in the grass underneath the palm trees, in the patio or just in front of the room. The beach is just a 10-minute bike ride away though. The location is perfect in between Tarifa, Canos la Meca and Vejer. Also, there’s a large forest just next to the Finca. So much exploration potential all around. But chances are you’ll never leave that beautiful garden ;).
