Old Centre Inn Alicante

Liked · Absolutely everything! Amazing communication from the owners. We received an email confirming the location, door number, floor and room number before we flew and an email once we arrived confirming check in. The member of staff working there let us in at 3 and gave us a tour of the facilities including which key opened which room. The room had been freshly cleaned and was immaculate! We had the terrace leading out to the square which was beautiful and gave us somewhere to sit on the evening away from the bustle of the city but still allowed us to enjoy the nightlife below. The bathroom was way better than expected for a hostel and had cleaning products for use. It could do with a mop to clean up after your shower but that is just personal preference. The beds were memory foam and really comfortable, immaculately clean mattress, the sheets provided smelt freshly laundered and additional blankets were given. Everything was explained really clear. The venue was easy to find (Find the town hall square, look for the row of cafes near the mini shop and it's tucked in the corner clearly sign posted) The patio doors were some what sound proof but we expected noise given it's location and how that we visited on a weekend. For the price we paid we have no complaints. Whilst basic, it was 100% expected for a hostel stay, clean, safe with CCTV in the common area, secure and worth every penny! Top tip for anyone travelling. Use Google translate to communicate with the owners if your Spanish isn't the best. It made our process a lot easy and smoother
