Pip's Place offer a very affordable stay on the beach front in Strand. We had a two bedroom apartment with a double bed in the one room two single beds in the other. The apartments are self catering. The bathroom is equipped with a bath and a shower. 
The view is unparalleled and you could literally sit and watch the ocean the entire day. 

They also have a laundromat in the building which is really very convenient.

Pips is within walking distance from all the restaurants and the  water park. 

Strand offers excellent swimming and surfing. 



Nice seaside view, but there is some traffic noise, wind and later afternoon sun to deal with (some shutters were broken). The blinds in the second room are  broken and offer not privacy from the passage right outside the window. Otherwise the place was well-appointed and communication good. Ignore the hotel.com info that you can only check in at 9pm.

Excellent accommodation, very clean, modern and had everything your family would need. We were able to cook and accommodate a couple of guests.

There was one very blue wall :) and the main bed could have been more comfortable, could feel the springs so a bit of back ache in the morning and my boyfriend is tall, the bed didn't quite accommodate his height.

The location is ideal, restaurants (great breakfast and unbelievable carrot cake at Timeless cafe), pristine beach, putt putt and more all within walking distance.

The hosts are friendly and accommodating.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Exceptional value for money!

absolutely awful place, full of cockroach in the kitchen area, next to elevator, 
full of dust on the shutters , old carpets...
even after requesting a deep clean up, and was informed the anti cocktrouch cleanerds were sent, had to spray toxic products and at the end was evicted as they said we had unreasonable requests, 
the door at the botton did not cover the entrance, the whole building seem unsafe too .had a horrible stay and will not recommend, best to go next door building called monaco gardens, clean and safe, and superb service provided.
finally left the room, with full refund by 8 am, and was in a coffee shop looking for somewhere to stay, as was left with not alternative. luckily the timeless cafe owner help us, and we found an avaliable accommodation in monaco gardens.
very stressful, and truly when travelling you only ask for at least clean space, specially with a child
