Lovely guest house within walking distance to Shops and attractions.  We had a family stayover and the hosts allowed us to make use of their braai facilities.  Accommodation and bedding was great, and the apartment had everything you would need for a short stay.  Absolute value for money.

I liked the privacy, quietness and safety of Magnolia. I was impressed by the well equipped self catering cupboard corner, which made it easy and possible to eat in. Plates, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, milk, coffee, tea, cereal and rusks provided. The SuperSpar shopping centre is within 5 mins walk. Recommended! 

The room was well equipped and clean. It is in a quiet area with birdlife and squirrels around. Close too all amenities. Nice area for running and walking. It was a pleasure staying there. Will definitely return.

We were warmly welcomed by Paul - He immediately made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The room (number 7) was very neat and tidy, cozy and we felt right at home! We loved the natural vegetation on the premises is so lush and listening to the birds chirping was so peaceful and relaxing. We will be back for sure!

We checked in late and we got call before that asking what time we would check in. No problems when we arrived. We were welcomed, had a lovely stay and we will go back there in future. This place is convenient and clean. Fit for purpose and safe.

Lovely peaceful place with beautiful gardens. Onsite Parking area a bit tight for all the cars that was there, but not a major issue. Our second time staying there, can definitely recommend it for a break away.

This   place is  well-located within Stellenbosch - a few minutes walk to a strip mall with a grocery store and restaurants. Can easily walk to central Stellenbosch and the university.  Super-friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are adequate. There is no pool, fitness centre, et al so if you are looking for a luxurious stay, this place may not be for you. However, if you are looking for a more reasonably-priced place to lay your head, it is quite sufficient. One minor criticism is that although the rooms are furnished with old-fashioned furniture (desks with carved legs), the use of cheap plastic chairs with them does detract greatly from the ambience.

We had a pleasant stay at Magnolia Place. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful, although we were surprised that the room wasn't serviced on the Sunday. A suggestion - an under-cover place could be provided for smokers.

more tv channels needed like the Christian channels Bibles also needed there was a cracking noise in the room and assumed it came from the fridge as it had not been defrosted for a long time big build up of ice staff were very friendly lovely to have rooms serviced daily

Well equipped self catering corner, comfortable room.

The curtains are very light and anyone outside can see inside and the toilet is open space beside the entrance and the room no no electric plug beside the bed and it's one plug only available behind the room door the others are three round dot plug and it's already used for other electric devices except one free to use but u will use it between the other electric devices and far from the bed

Centrally-located with super-friendly staff

This guesthouse is located a little further from the center, but by car it is not a problem. A 5-7-minute walk to a shopping center with a supermarket and fast food. Very friendly person at the reception. There is a parking space. Very nice house. The room has all the conditions. Beautiful classic furniture, comfortable bed, Wi-Fi. The only drawback is there is no heating and it was cold in July. Unfortunately, this is the norm in South Africa. Except for some hotels.

Excellent conditions, but it's cold in winter.

Enjoyable spot close to hospital and shops. Clean and secure.  Safe parking. Had everything I needed for my stay. Great value for money 

Peaceful Sleepover at Magnolia

Adequate accommodation for our very short stay.
Extra bed was very basic.
only downside was a huge spider in the bathroom (a bit scary )

Relaxing Stay with all Amenities

My family and I stayed at magnolia for the few days leading up to my wedding. The property was spacious but also we enjoyed the privacy between our rooms and clean rooms and rustic living spaces were a nice welcome after long days. Lovely place and very affordable
