I had all the basic amenities available to me and needed nothing beyond arranging for my own evening meal. The service was brilliant, and my host, Alex, went out of his way to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed the variety of options available to me throughout the meal's various courses, and the food itself was delicious. I found the decorations and the building's Victorian style to be charming and thoroughly enjoyed being splayed out with my book on a couch in the reading room after breakfast. I'd highly recommend this hidden gem in the midst of the bustling city of Cape Town.
