We found this little gem when we visited Cape Town four years ago and we loved it. First thing we did when we arrived was go to the apartment drop off our luggage and straight to Cage Charles for lunch, we was not disappointed. It is still the same owner and after that day, we walked to the cafe every morning for breakfast which we can highly reccomend. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and to sit under the old tree eating breakfast is a wonderful start to the day. The granola is home made, the almond croissants are warm and wonderful. Andrew likes the classic breakfast with soft poached eggs as is the avocado toast with soft poached eggs, very generous servings as well. It is very popular so I would recommend booking Our next trip to wonderful Cape Town is planned and we shall be visiting once again.
