Kingsbury Lodge

I stayed at Kingsbury Lodge, for 10 days, while I was frequenting the nearby hospital for business purposes. The top class hospitals are a short walk away which was fantastically convenient - I would suggest anyone who is visiting patients in the hospitals to stay at Kingsbury too. Nearby there is a large shopping center, restaurants, grocery stores, petrol station and a pharmacy all in close proximity. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi and DSTV access was great. As a single female travelling alone I was extremely safe at the Lodge with the security that is in place and had my own access keys so I could come and go as needed. Saving the best for last - the host/owner Dot is absolutely amazing! I have quite a few dietary requirements and she went out of her way to provide me with a delicious breakfast that suited all my requirements. On the days that I had free time Dot gave me plenty of great suggestions of things to do while in Cape Town - all of which were brilliant! We had lovely conversations and Dot checked in with how I am and if there was anything I needed. I will certainly be returning to Kingsburg Lodge during my next trip to Cape Town.
