I was on a business trip and stayed over at Easy Five.  Very well maintained premises, and very professional, friendly service.  Had a lovely breakfast while watching the squirrels playing in the garden.  Would definitely advise staying with them. There was no loud noises, quite and peaceful surroundings.

We stayed here in late June 2025 to reconnect with our daughter and grandchildren in Somerset West. We reserved two beautifully appointed cottages—one for us and one for my elderly parents—ours was fully self-catering - we stayed for 8 nights and savored every moment.

Dave, the host, is truly a gem—friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. He anticipated our every need and exceeded all expectations. The linen, bedding, bathrooms, and heating were all exceptional. The garden was lush, tranquil, and private.

The location is ideal—central to so much of Somerset West’s beauty, from wine estates to mountain views. We can’t say enough about this property. We will return—and we highly recommend it.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hosts are wonderful and accommodating. Alley gave us advice on places to go and even lent us hats as we weren’t prepared for the strength of the sun.

We can’t recommend Easy Five enough! We were so impressed. Beautiful and peaceful. Clean and exceptionally comfortable. What more can one say! Go and stay at Easy Five - it is perfect. Our hostess was wonderful - so welcoming and approachable. 

I want to give a big thank you to allie and dave for being the best hosts - it felt like family! Also thx to nicole and charlotte for tidying up my chaotic room every day :) i stayed 2 weeks in the elefant club which is a little house i loved it! I will miss you guys and be back for sure! 💕

We stayed in the Elephant room which has the most comfortable extra long bed. The room and location are very quiet, with the pool and gardens just lovely.
The hosts were perfect. Welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. They allowed us to check in slightly early which was most appreciated. We wish you good luck with this relatively new venture and look forward to seeing you again.

Lovely place to stay: very hospitable, helpful and friendly hosts Ally and Dave. Great ensuited rooms, secure and clean. Relaxed atmosphere with a sparkling pool and common area where we met other guests for a chat. Chose breakfast option which changed daily and was customised to my needs. Close to winelands, golf and shops. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Great venue, superb facilities and friendly hosts

We enjoyed our brief two night stay at Easy Five in Somerset West.The property was easy to find and very conveniently placed to visit the vineyards. Our host was very welcoming and the pools a useable size.. The garden is very easy on the eye with Sun lounges available and plenty of shade when needed. We will visit again.

We were four guys on a golf vacation and really enjoyed our time at the easy five.
Very unique guest rooms that were clean and comfortable. It felt very safe.
Nice breakfast area beside the pool in the mornings. The pool was heated and clean. Probably the best part was the braai we cooked up one evening on the guest patio, even got some of the other guests to join in on the feast.
Francis (owner) was very welcoming and accommodating. He was full of local knowledge and was able help us with our golf bookings. The golf is spectacular!
He cooked us great breakfasts and made superb coffee!
We’ll be back!

Fantastic guest house in Somerset West

Beautiful

We traveled for a school weekend tournament and staying close to the school was the best choice. Easy five was just what we needed. It was comfortable and clean.
