An excellent guesthouse providing great service. Relaxing by the pool, with jacuzzi, sauna and spa. Wonderful breakfast too, and the massage as an extra was just perfect!
The location was great for exploring around the area and was wonderfully quiet.
the hosts are great to chat with and provide detailed advice. Definitely a place to return to!

We had a lovely weekend. 
Detlef and Lars are perfect hosts and everything was delightful. 
Lovely comfortable room, great breakfast, delightful garden and excellent location (close to Cape Town but also by the sea and very close to some great Wine Estates).
We will definitely be returning.

Fabulous views, lovely hosts and a very relaxing atmosphere. We particularly loved the outdoor shower and that no swimwear was required in the garden. There are a lot of beautiful places in easy reach, in particular many wineries and fantastic restaurants. The hosts were very helpful in our excursion planning. We will be back. 

Very very nice guesthouse that went out of their way to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I would certainly recommend them to any serious traveler out there! From the welcome to the breakfast - everything was superb. Thank you to hosts Lars and Detlefs. It was very very nice.

My partner and enjoyed a 3 night stay as part of our holiday. Very impressed with the room size, comfortable bed and lovely garden. Great hosts and I would recommend a massage and the wine tour offer.

Very nice house in a safe environment. Detlef and Lars are friendly hosts. In a relaxed atmosphere you easily feel like being at home. Nice breakfast, a refreshing pool and a lovely jacuzzi and beautiful terrace.We enjoyed our stay very much.

Detlef and Lars are super hosts. They made me feel very comfortable. Always checked in on me. The room and condition of the guesthouse is immaculate. Views are great and I am looking forward to my next visit.

Tranquillity, beautiful views, beautiful vineyards around the location. I recommend a tour of the vineyards. The owners are very kind and make you feel safe and relaxed. Level of a 5 star hotel with a more relaxed atmosphere.

Top class accommodation in lovely surrounds

We stayed 7 nights here. We choose this accommodation for several reasons. The fact that is a gay resort was the first. Secondly it is 
central to the many places we wanted to visit, both to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek in the north, aswell as Cape Town/Table Mountain to the west, and Gordon's Bay to the south-east. And, not in the last place, the guesthouse has a swimmingpool for cooling down after a long day of exploring.
The acommodation and facilities are just what one would want. 
Detlef and Lars are very friendly hosts, took good care when needed or asked, but also respected our privacy. Thanks a lot guys, we enjoyed Pink Rose Guesthouse a lot.

A very relaxing stay

Best and most Relaxed Holiday ever.

This Guest-house, the two who own and run  (Detlef & Lars)  this place and the changing guests, all made for this to be our standout holiday of 2022.
We loved the views from the Guest-house and the freedom it gave us.
In fact we love it so much, that we have booked our flights from Europe back to South Africa for Nov 2023 already. Without any doubt, we will be staying here the next time too

Detlef and Lars are the best hosts you can imagine! We always meet nice people. Still in contact to all of them. 
Best breakfast, nice pool area, good massages, clean rooms, very next to the wineyards.

My partner and I had a very wonderful time and would love to go there again. The room we stayed in was perfect and we would like that room again upon our return. The jacuzzi was amazing. I had a massage and it was the best I ever had and would do it whenever I go again l. The breakfast was on point.
I would only suggest that they get a warm water pool because the pool looked tempting but the water was ice cold but the could also be bec6we went over a cold weekend. I would also suggest that you they have light foods on order to the guests. Further more we enjoyed our stay and looking forward to our next stay there.

Couples weekend

Detlef and Lars are really doing a perfect job in their guesthouse. The communication before we arrived was excellent. The room (No 1) is perfect, because it is directly at the pool. Big enough for two persons. Everything is very clean and in a perfect shape. Breakfast is huge. Capetown is reachable within 30 min driving. So, if we would be in that area again, we would definitely stay there

We enjoyed a pleasant stay at the Pink Rose which is conveniently situated in Somerset West, near to the wine farms.
