Grand hotel with luxurious rooms. It was very cosy and intimate with personalized service. They even walk you to nearby restaurants with an umbrella ! The afternoon tea service with cake and sweet treats was stellar, served in silver teapot and fine china. The evening canapés were excellent and they even made samosa and chaat especially for us. The breakfast is made to order, so takes a little time but is well worth it. All the furnishings and amenities are top notch. The icing on cake was hot water bags in the bed after long day of sightseeing. Turndown service with chocolates was an added bonus. Remember it’s a heritage property so expect to climb a flight of stairs if you get upstairs rooms.
