I spent two weeks in Moscow for the first time and I'm so lucky that it was at Hotel Kirpich. The room was perfect for me, well kept, clean and comfortable. Elena was the primary person whom I talked to and she was very accommodating and friendly. They offer laundry service and have an attached restaurant. Elena and everyone were helpful with general questions and some assistance with the language, which definitely felt like they went above and beyond for me. To say I felt welcomed in Russia would be an understatement, and I have them to thank. I would love to go back to Moscow and Hotel Kirpich is my first choice. Спасибо большое!

    What was good

    Small, cosy, quiet, ok for 1 guest or couple. Gowns and slippers are offered to guests, this makes you feel at home.

    What was bad

    No elevator, no porter, don't stay there if you have a heavy suitcase. There was a renovation of the building at the time of my stay, breakfast was served in the room,omelette was excellent, but bread was too simple. And I wanted yogurt, kefir or sour milk, but there was none. There is no fridge/minibar in the room
