507 reviewsWe got into Agua Calientes around 5pm and checked into Adela’s. It was super close to the train station and also super close to the bus station that takes you up to Machu Picchu. Which was really convenient with our big backpacks. Our room had a window that directly overlooked the river that runs through Agua Calientes and the mountain behind it, which was beautiful. We had tickets to Machu Picchu the next day at 6 am, so after we checked in we walked up to the hot springs which are about a ten minute walk along the river, Then grabbed some dinner before returning. In the morning complimentary breakfast was served starting at 5 am so we grabbed a bite to eat before we caught our bus up the mountain. They also gave us coffee to go and allowed us to store our bags there while we hiked Machu Picchu for the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
