This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The pictures are very accurate and we were not at all disappointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bath to die for and the view amazing. We were impressed the TV had Netflix access too- we are not big on going out in the evening. The spa was lovely and so welcoming with tea and water prepared for our arrival. The staff were ok, especially the gentleman in the evening. Our one issue was a rather unfortunate one. We arrived on a Saturday and upon returning to our room in the evening and looking out into the forest we noticed a man staring at us and hiding behind trees peeping forwards, then running behind others and hiding again. Having played cat and mouse with him for close to 3 hours (with the help of the gentleman on the desk) we resorted to calling the police, at which point the man in the forest, affectionately nick-named Tommy (for obvious reasons)had taken to climbing the trees to peer through the windows. This did, unfortunately, make our stay slightly more uncomfortable than we would have hoped, especially as the curtains are not intended to be drawn. Obviously, we understand this is not the fault of the hotel but something that could do with being dealt with sufficiently. The breakfast was very small and somewhat disappointing,but not the end of the world. All in all, this is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location.
