Have just returned from my 2nd visit to Casa Carbonaia, first time was with friends this time i took the family. They loved it as I hoped they would. The accommodation is great, clean, comfortable and ideal for us with loads of outside space to eat. There is a large well maintained outdoor pool with the most amazing view. Simone and his family are fabulous hosts, very kind and helpful - he got the pizzeria to stay open until midnight so that we could get something to eat after a long delay at the airport, which was greatly appreciated by our two hungry children. The location of Casa Carbonaia is stunning and you do feel like you are looking onto a large painting of Tuscany. Having taken part in activities last time and enjoyed it we took the children canyoning and horse riding which they loved. It was a hit with me first time and its been a definite hit with my family who are already talking about when we can go back.
