This B&B is housed in a charming 111-year-old home in the suburbs of Verona. But because Verona is such a small city, it doesn't really matter because you're never more than a 10-minute-walk from Piazza delle Erbe – and from there all landmarks such as the Dante Aligheri statue, the Scaliger tombs, the campanile, the arena – are just within a few metres of each other! If you go in the other direction from the B&B, in 10 minutes you reach Teatro Romano and the absolutely stunning Giusti palace and gardens! The B&B is quaint, quiet in a lively neighbourhood with restaurants, bars, cafes and a supermarket within three-minutes walk. We had a wonderful and really comfortable with all modern amenities. It's located on the ground floor with just four steps – so no worries with big bags. There's a bus stop two minutes away. The homeowners are really warm and helpful people. In fact, on checking in, we were given the whole low-down on Verona, the sites worthy of visits, best times to go to a particular place and what to look out for. In the morning, we were served breakfast in the little garden at the back of the house. Absolutely loved it here and highly recommend it. Can't wait to go back and stay here again.
