You cannot help but unwind in this heavenly location. We swam, we ate, we wandered to the village and around the hills. Rustic, charming and utterly comfy. Beatrice and her family couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. If you're after total relaxation in a location to make your heart sing, this is it.

It is a simply but tastefully-appointed property in a beautiful, unspoiled spot - there were practically no other tourists about. Nice pool with a commanding view of a verdant valley. The charming host, Bea, was very accommodating and suggested fun things to do in the area. One evening after an excellent dinner in the little village nearby, fire-fly danced in the moonlight and guided us home. It was pure magic.

Gorgeous views, great pool...with more views, fantastic interior rustic with no detail overlooked, and modern bathrooms. 

The staff were efficient and helpful, they even reserved us a table at a restaurant serving local fare, which I also recommend La Taverna dei Rioni https://www.facebook.com/pages/La-Taverna-dei-Rioni/264939056925519?sk=info. 

Breakfast was outstanding with both sweet and savoury options, served in the most adorable stone cottage. 

I absolutely recommend this b&b, quiet, relaxing and the perfect stopever for anyone wanting to experience the area. 

Not one negative thing to say, just book it!

Our spring visit at Torre Fantini wasn't nearly long enough to satisfy our interest in this beautiful region. Hence, we spent another 4 days in the Vecchia Suite this time to enjoy the local Sagra (food festivals) and experiencing the region in its fall glory. We were lucky to catch the Vendemmia (wine harvest) in progress which was a highlight of our stay. Beatrice was very welcoming and joined us for a gourmet meal at the Old Mill restaurant in Tredozio. A wonderful experience! We highly recommend this location for comfort and a beautiful surrounding.

The villa has recently become available to be let in its entirety and my family of six adults stayed there for one week. There are three bedrooms on the upper 2 storeys of the villa with most of the living areas, including kitchen and dining area area on the ground floor. The bedrooms are a good size with windows overlooking the spectacular scenery; each one has its own ensuite bathroom. There are additional bathrooms on the 1st floor and ground floor. 
The villa is set in a pretty garden with pear and fig trees. It is quite private, with magnificent views over nearby hills and fields from the terrace and pool. The pool is for the exclusive use of the villa guests and is well situated with plenty of reclining chairs and umbrellas. This was a favourite spot to relax, following a day touring or for a day spent enjoying the quiet of the villa. 
The villa is a short walk from the centre of the town of Tredozio, which has a little supermarket, butcher, baker, greengrocer, as well as a number of bars and restaurants. We mostly shopped in the village, however, if needed, there is a well stocked supermarket about 20 minutes drive away.
We enjoyed cooking our own meals and eating either at the large kitchen table or outside under the vines. The kitchen is well equipped, although quite small. 
We loved the peace and quiet at Torre Fantini and felt priveleged to have such magnificent views on our doorstep.
When we arrived we were met by the owners of the villa, Beatrice and her mother Lucy, who showed us around the villa. They made us feel very welcome, with a big bowl of fresh fruit, a bottle of local wine and olive oil and large cake on the kitchen table. Our first meal was prepared for us, with the table beautifully set in the adjoining cabana. Beatrice was available to provide support and information on attractions in the local area as well as a guided tour of her family palazzo, Palazzo Fontini in Tredozio. 
We loved our time at Torre Fantini, becoming a local in our own Italian villa for one week!
Hints:
- You would benefit from having a car at your disposal to enable you to visit local sights.
- There is no air conditioning and the upstairs bedrooms can become quite hot in the summer months.
- You may be charged an additional fee for electricity use.
