We had reached the Mottarone peak with the cable car and were about to visit Alpyland when we decided to stop for lunch: we were welcomed by a very kind host who served us impeccably; we ordered risotto with local porcini mushrooms and were stunned by the big portion and the quality of the dish; perfectly cooked, tasty, and kept constantly warm by a small flame, which was ideal in the cold temperature and let us enjoy the complete dish to the very last bite.
