I spent 11 nights in one of the lovely apartments here. The walk up an old Roman road was well worth it. Pasquale, the owner, met me off my transfer (he will arrange this for you) and took care of me from then on. A true gent, who is there if you need him. It was an ideal location for the train station, where I went on many trips. However, after the hustle and bustle of a trip it was ideal to go back to the lovely little garden to relax and read my book. I didn't do any organised trips as there was no need; the transport links are perfect to get around the whole area, and much cheaper. I caught the train to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and Naples, the city sight seeing bus to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello and the ferry to Capri. If in doubt just ask Pasquale who will help you with anything and everything. Sorrento itself is beautiful, full of lovely shops, sights and restaurants.
