468 reviewsFrom Catania bus terminal we caught AST bus to Nicolosi, approx 17 kilometres @ 2.80 euro each. Bus terminal Nicolosi is only about 250 metres from accommodation, easy to find with Maps Me. On arrival Maria was very friendly towards us, understood and spoke good English, and made us feel very welcome. Room was spacious with balcony overlooking Mt Etna. Breakfast was very well presented and adequate in a relaxed atmosphere. Accommodation is extremely clean and it is obvious that Maria is an experienced host who maintains her investment to the highest standard. Only point mentioning, if you intend exiting Nicolosi on a Sunday there is no public transport out. We paid 40 Euro for private transfer to the airport and thank Maria for arranging this.
