I actually stayed here last year and I really enjoyed it. The hotel is undeniably old but it's got a certain charm from a bygone slightly cruddy age. Despite what many have said, my room was clean and was thoroughly cleaned every day. I actually booked for 3 nights but extended my stay to 4. I had a room with a view and heard the sound of waves soothing me to sleep. I had full board and always selected fish, it was adequate and very fresh. The other guests were very friendly and it was not uncommon for them to slosh some of their wine into my glass. I was greeted as professore because I'm a teacher. The interiors are like out of a museum installation showing what life was like in the 1970s. When returning at night I had to go round the back to the lift and it was in complete darkness but I had a little torch. It was quite fun actually. Very importantly my van was safe and secure throughout my stay. The staff were quite friendly and were very understandable of my very rusty Italian.
