8 reviewsStayed with friends in a 2-bedroom apartment in late May, for hiking/climbing the nearby Dolomites. The owner couple (speaking German, Italian, English) were very friendly on checking us in, gave us nice tips about the area, restaurants in town, weather, climbing conditions, etc. The apartment is modern with a combined dining area and serviceable kitchen which we used without problems. Separate bathrooms are also completely fine (no problems in the shower for hot water, pressure, etc). Beds are very comfortable, with high quality mattresses, some of the best I've had in many many hotels and guest houses over years of Euro travels. Very quiet also (we were the only guests at that time), with window shades that can make the place into a sleeping tomb. They have a sauna in a different part of the house, though we never got around to using it. The house sits high on the Via La Selva (~15 min walk downhill to town), giving fantastic views of the village and mountains. It was on/off rainy but the clouds coming in and out added to the unique drama of the Dolomites. I'd definitely return, hope to do so. Try the Ristorante Bellavista in town, the owner is known for his seafood, we had great meals with very good house red wine.
