Hotel Sunnwies

Stayed for 2 weeks here in a new a 'new suite Meran' along with the kids. The room was spacious, great balcony (only the view was a bit blocked by a nearby building) and clean. Service in the hotel is great, a real family driven hotel. Every sunday there's a starting reception where the host explains the upcoming week (things to do, special events, ...), you can join the host along with other guest to do something (a trip with the bus, walking). Hotel amenities are fine, good swimming pool inside, only downside was there is only a small outside pool, which is sometimes better when the temperature rises to 35° C. The food in the hotel is absolutely great, the kitchen team prepares every night a 5 course dinner, with sometimes special dessert buffet (strudel buffet got to love it). This along with a nice glass of wine of the region, what do you need more? When the weather is good, dinner is served on the terrace outside. The hotel is close to the town centre, less then 5 minutes walk. the host takes pictures along the week which you receive on a USB stick to take home. in short, a place to return to.
