Hotel Miravalle

I came away with friends who had been here twice before - once before the renovation and the second at the tail end of the renovation. They rated it highly, despite the absence of coat hooks and other little niggles due to the renovation not being complete. Had it not been for them singing this hotel’s praises, I might have thought twice about due to a few negative comments. Plenty of choice for breakfast - continental and hot options (bacon, scrambled eggs, beans). Dinner is plentiful. Massive buffet and soup to chose from before your starter. Main course consisted of meat and one veg but there was always salad. Desserts were typical - tiramisu, crème caramel, apple strudel… Afternoon tea consisted of rolls, croissants and cake. Lunch (tasty soup and hot pasta) was served at Capanna Kind, with a small taster dessert and a glass of water, which was plenty for me. Hotel was kept scrupulously clean and the staff were fantastic. They were all very friendly and helpful and all worked so hard. The whole hotel was toasty (I hate being cold) and the showers were hot and powerful. Roberto drove us up and down the mountain to the lift every morning and evening in a brand new vehicle. My one and only criticism was that the boot room was not heated but I just took my boots up to my room and left the skis in the locker. Basically, in a nutshell, there was nothing not to like. Extremely good value and highly recommend! Hope this helps anyone who is indecisive!
