We only stayed at Domo De Pedra for one night but it was by far the most rewarding experience of our entire stay in Sardegna. This working farm is a bit outside of Alghero but quite close to the airport and would be a great introduction to the island for new visitors. Constantino (the proprietor), his wife Anita, daughter Lucia and the rest of the family have created a warm haven for those wishing to experience the true familial culture and spirit of Sardegna. Although breakfast and dinner are optional it would be a shame to miss out on these opportunities to commune with Constantino, his family and the other guests about life under the Sardegnian stars. Meals are served outside in the family's garden and the food was absolutely unbelievable, having been grown, harvested and prepared by the same hands. The cabins are quaint but spacious and comfortable with A/C available. It is also a straight shot to Cappocaccia and the beautiful bay and grotto de nettuna. We can't say enough about this priceless gem. Will definitely be returning.
