B&B Capo Sant'Alessio

We booked late in the evening (9.30) and arrived half an hour later. The owners were fantastic, called us back within 5 minutes to confirm and were waiting outside for us when we arrived. We had underestimated the driving time to get back to Catania from a beach in the north and staying overnight was a better option than getting back to the city after 11pm with a sleeping toddler. Despite our late arrival, we were able to park on the property. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and we were amazed by how good the room was. It was in my opinion 5 star quality and we transferred our sleeping little boy to the small bed with no trouble, then turned in for a very good night's sleep, in a comfortable bed. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, with fresh home baked bread and cakes and a good selection of juices, cereals, etc. Our hosts were on hand and advised us on how to get to the beach (which was very close, 5 minutes walk away). The beach area was extensive, with public and private areas. Next time we're in Sicily, we will definitely be booking here for a longer stay.
