The four of us stayed at the Albergo Maso Col for two nights in a quad room in order to tackle the classic walk from the Altoplano down to the hotel. The hotel is in a fabulous location in a meadow at the end of a long driveway with the dramatic Dolomites as a backdrop. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the food is good. The staff are friendly. Our stay stretched our budget but it was worth it. Excellent.
