La Locanda di Montisi

Podere Montisi is absolutely lovely. We stayed in a large two bedroom “apartment” suite that had additional sofa and daybed pullouts. It was beautifully appointed and felt like a warm home. The kitchen is fully renovated and every detail of the place was just picturesque. The farm makes their own olive oil, salts, jams and other items and is in a idyllic Tuscan countryside setting. The hosts are the nicest people! Barbara is very kind and helpful and makes everyone feel like family. You should have a car to get around, there isn’t any local transportation available. All nearby restaurants prefer reservations.
