A very nice , clean place. All we need was available and nothing was too much or less. We had 2 bedroom and 2 bath and had even enough place for our visitors. The house was easy to get from many directions, and nearby (had to use a car)we found every thing we need grocery restaurants supermarket . A great location for visit in Le Marche

In all that we felt your efforts, your energy, your hospitality. To say 'we had a great time' only describes our feelings superficially. Thank you very much for this wonderful week. We could not have chosen a better place to start our long holiday in Italy.The peacefull and beautiful surroundings were the perfect place in which to unwind. Carotondo is well situated for walks in the Sibillini Mountain as well as for visiting many interesting villages which are within a short drive away. Our hosts Vanessa and Rob could not have been more helpful and their generousity will be one of the highlighs of our holiday.We stayed for three weeks and felt very sad when our departure day arrived as we had felt so at home and knew the next day we would not be blessed with the same incredible view as we had enjoyed at Carotondo.
Dear Rob and Vanessa thank you for your kindness and generosity. Those strawberries were delicious, also many thanks for giving our herb plants more space in which to grow. We shall miss the frogs and birdsong,the beautiful views and comfortable apartment.

Our first time in the Marche Region and we were very impressed: beautiful scenery (when the clouds weren’t hiding the mountains), charming hilltop villages, authentic restaurants with lovely good value food and wine, quiet roads.  What more could one want?  Well, perhaps better weather as it wasn’t great, though it didn’t stop us doing what we wanted.  Excellent meals at Osteria Scherzi a Parte and Le Clarisse and very substantial cheap lunch at 'Moma’ on the SP78 (35 minute walk on the dirt road through the forest; slow return uphill with full stomachs!). 

We much appreciated the comfort, smartness and warmth of the spacious apartment and were very content here.  Everything one could possibly want in the kitchen was provided, the bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom very clean, with a shower which maintained temperature.  WiFi worked well most of the time though the signal was stronger in the bedroom.  The only minor negative point was the lack of British TV channels; we watched only BBC World.  However, as we had taken CDs, at least we had music on the separate audio system.

Wonderful tranquillity and beautiful view of the Sibillini Mountains; one of the nicest places we have stayed.  Many thanks, Rob and Vanessa, for providing such lovely accommodation and for the useful and comprehensive information you gave us.

Carotondo is a fantastic place to spend your holidays. It's comfortable, quiet and has an amazing view. We have spent our vacation there now for the fourth time. We tried other places, but came back. The owners constructed the house and magnificent garden theirselves. Almost like heaven.
