Went to visit friends who were staying in a nearby Fattoria. Hotel Renaie was simply wonderful. Peaceful oasis with a beautiful garden. Room was spotless, shower was great and our friends came to the hotel to have dinner. Restaurant really good. Staff delightful, especially Pietro at reception. Could have stayed longer and hope to go back one day. The village of Pancole is very small, but only 5 km from San Gimignano, so if you want to escape after a day of sightseeing and hordes of people, Hotel Renaie is definitely the place to stay. Great verandah to sit and sip an Aperol Spritzer in the afternoon to relax. Thanks Hotel Renaie for a great stay.
