What a wonderful place! A unique Italian house within an idyllic setting on the western shore of Lake Garda, this B&B is perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet and a comfortable base from which to explore the lake. The house, has been in hostess Isabella's family for many years and her devotion to it shows-it is beautiful with original furniture and features aplenty and yet the luxury and comfort of a modern bathroom combined to make our week a holiday to remember! The house is located within an olive grove isolated from the nearby town high on the cliff near Isla de Garda. Isabella is a wonderful host and made us very welcome. She was full of useful local information on places to visit and eat and the best way of getting there. And her breakfasts were something we looked forward to to set us up for our day's exploring. Fruit from her vast kitchen garden, homemade breads, cakes and jams, prosciutto and cheese, yoghurts-a wonderful array each day served in the beautiful garden or in the house on cooler days -we loved it! Isabella is an animal lover and she has 2 dogs and 2 cats which are free to roam the ground floor and grounds-be aware if you have allergies. They are curious and friendly animals but were never a problem to us. If you are looking to explore this part of Italy but want peace and quiet to escape at the end of the day, you should consider this lovely place!
