I spent six nights in this lovely B&B and would warmly recommend it. Right from the time of my first enquiry, Claudia was prompt, professional and friendly in her responses, and both she and her father were so kind and helpful during my stay. The apartment is clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated throughout. My room was spacious, with a large and very comfortable bed and an ensuite bathroom. I liked the fact that my “home” was located in a normal suburban apartment block: for me, it provided a more authentic experience of living in Rome than a touristy city centre hotel. The B&B is located not much more than ten minutes’ walk from the Tiburtina rail and metro station, although I sometimes took the metro from the next stop out, called Quintiliani, which I found to be a shorter walk and easier to access; I found the Tiburtina station large and sprawling. I am not sure if I would walk to the Quintiliani stop after dark, though, as it appears rather desolate and you reach it via a quiet country road. Tiburtina station is only four short stops from Termini so really it is not at all far to central Rome. Tiburtina is also handy for making day trips to smaller towns near Rome. All in all, I was more than happy with my experience at Beltramelli B&B – grazie mille a Claudia e a Signor Caluori! Spero di tornare un giorno!
