The owners that welcomed us were very friendly, and the rooms are clean, but old fashioned. 
The mattrasses are of a decent quality and the neighboorhood is quiet... 
However, the rooms all give to a common kitchen/living area. So when people arrive at night, or leave early in the morning, you will be woken up. This happened a couple of times in one night (the other two night were ok).
The rooms have no view at all.
Breakfast is self-service - meaning that you have to make your coffeee yourself, and go to the store yourself if you want to have something nutricious. The only things that are available to eat are packaged cakes and dry biscuits & jelly. No juice, no fresh bread, not even butter let alone fruits, yoghurt or a eggs ...
The location is about 30 to 40 minutes by foot and tram from the Piazza Venezia. Up to you to decide if this is far or not. We felt it was too far (we had no choice as another hotel got cancelled one day before departure).
The area is quiet as mentioned and it felt safe, even at night.

Clean, but noisy at night and sub-standard breakfast

I tried to book a room and I couldn't get anyone on the phone to speak English or Romanian. I was advised to call on Watzup (?!)
It was pretty discouraging; I ask myself if all hotels in this category have the same customer service.
